Happy Friday Friends on a very special Happy Halloween!!

Soooo... happy it's Friday...I think I have been ready all week!!!

We may have even started the weekend a bit last night with some Pumpkin Carving!!

Good Times!!!  The Countdown to Halloween is over!!!

It's been a great week...but time for a little Happy Hour with our good friends and family!

I couldn't think of a better way to Celebrate a Halloween Happy Hour

than with Bobby Flay's Red Wine Sangria!

It wasn't till recently that I learned that one of my most favorite Sangrias was Bobby Flays!

My good friend JP is the King of making this delicious Drink!

So, thank you JP for introducing it to me...and it is the perfect thing to add to

 your Halloween Happy Hour!!! Good News for us Tampa Friends...we are expecting

a Cooler Halloween! Yay...no Sweating...with our Sangria!!

This Red Wine Sangria Recipe takes a little bit of time...but is well worth it...

it has a great flavor...and is good for a Fall Gathering!

I love all the Fresh Fruit in this Recipe!

It is all about the Treats at Halloween!

At least in my House...if it's not about the Costume...it

is certainly about the Treats with Friends!

So in preparation for Halloween...I wanted to share some 

of my Favorite Halloween Treats for the Kids!

This is a NO BAKE Halloween Bar!

It has only 4 ingredients and is super easy to make...and 

seriously ...its Halloween Crack! These Bars are ...YUM!

I made them for the first time last year....and we will certainly have them this year!

I am a huge fan of Owls for the Fall and Halloween!

I love them in Decorations...and even on a Treat!

These little Cupcakes are ADORBS!

You can make them in Mini Cupcakes or Regular Cupcakes!

I am doing these with my Boys.  It looks fun and easy for kids to assemble

after you make or buy your Chocolate Cupcake!

These Halloween Pretzel Buttons are almost a Staple at a Party!

They are so cute and so easy....and so easy to change out

for colors or themes...this is the Fall or Halloween version!

are all about Spiders! With our Decorations and with our Treats!

So when I found these Super Cute Donut Spiders we added them to our

Halloween Movie Night with their Besties!

our Scary but oh so yummy Spiders....and 

watched the movie "Hotel Transylvania" and it was a Halloween Treat Hit!

It's Halloween Week! I guess if you don't know already I am a mom of 3..

and Halloween ...well...it ranks as a very fun day for all the kids!!

Today, I wanted to share one of our Halloween Traditions in our home!

We have a Chili Bar with our Friends and Family!

Heck ....we just make a Big Driveway Party before we hit the streets for some Trick or Treating!

I wanted to share some Chili Bar Ideas with you that I found via Pinterest.

Here is my Chili Recipe that I'm making this Friday!

Its been in my family for years!

Layne's Hearty Chili

2 Lbs of Ground Meat

2 Cans of Black Beans

2 Cans of Red Beans

2 Cans of Hominy

1 Can of Tomato Paste

1 Can Tomato Sauce

1 Can Rotel

1 Jar of Salsa

1 Yellow or White Onion

1 Table Spoon of Cumin

1 Table Spoon of Chili or Chipolte Powder

1 Table Spoon of Oregano

Chop Onion and Saute in Olive Oil

Cook Ground Meat

Add Together

Add all your Can Goods

Season to Taste

The Longer it Simmers the Flavors will Marry

Add 1 Can of Water if it is too Thick

Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream, Corn Bread, and Tortilla Chips are a great Addition

Count down to Halloween is on!

Today I chose one of my favorites! Just love this Wine!

Baby Blue from Blue Rock Winery.

Baby Blue is 51% Estate Cabernet, 25% Estate Cabernet Franc,

18% Estate Syrah, and the balance is Merlot and Malbec.

The Wine spent 20 months in French Oak and as a result

Baby Blue is Simply Delicious!!! This Wine has a Deep Red Color...with 

Black Currant as the Primary Flavor with overtones of Blackberry and Mint.

The French Oak gives that fantastic Vanilla Flavor...that is my personal favorite!

Definitely one of my top 3 Wines that I love! I found this Wine several years ago

when my Sweet Hubs and I owned a Wine Bar in Beautiful Marco Island, Florida...

we had the opportunity to learn and taste many Wines from various Wineries around the World.

A great Experience for us that we will forever cherish!

In life you must keep it exciting...and owning a Wine Bar was nothing short of Exciting!!!

It's been a great week!

the weekend is here...and Sweet Hubs and I love Happy Hour!

that I personally love and recommend! To give you a little background

I worked for Wineries and Spirit Suppliers for 10 years before I decided to stay home with my Bee's.

It was a very exciting and fun time in my life as I 

traveled the world to beautiful Wineries and Amazing Distilleries!

Through that experience I gained a Passion and Love for good Wines and good Cocktails!

I even had the opportunity to get Certified on the 1st Level of Sommelier School.

So my Sweet Hubs Mike and I enjoy trying new Wines together
