Honeybee me Inspiration

I wanted to take you behind the scenes today

of my Blog Design. Like anything these days there is a

Inspiration Board or a Pinterest Board.  Where would we be without

Pinterest....I guess I would still be cutting out Inspiration Pictures out of Magazines 

and Pinning them on Cork Boards!!! I spent a lot of

time trying to think of the feel I wanted for my Blog...Honeybee me.

Of course you do know I have 3 very Special Bee's in my Life

that are part of my Love and Inspiration for the Honeybee me! 

I had a fantastic Blog Designer assist me in making the 

Inspiration Board come to Life...and well I think it was captured.

I wanted it to feel Glamorous, Preppy, Classy, and with a little Sparkle just like a Party!

It is very Kate Spade Inspired...with my favorite Black and White Stripes and

topped off with Pink and Gold! I have been on Pink and Gold since the day I 

found out we were having our baby girl Beckham! Beckham's Nursery is all 

Pink and Gold Inspired. I will show you the Nursery on another post!

There were 3 rounds of revisions for this Blog Design from Font to Colors and Logos...

it is fun...always fun to build something of your very own!

Design Stores. This Store has so many beautiful details!

Its a Store full of Eye Candy as far as you can see!

Robyn and her staff are so talented...and the attention to details is

above and beyond. This is one of the best times of the years to go 

to the store...the Holiday Decorations are just magnificent!

to going back in December to see all the Amazing Gasparilla Decorations.

I enjoyed my Shopping Time in this Store...it is always a lovely experience.

It's almost that time...to decorate for Christmas...its coming quite quickly!!!

The Lighting is so great!

I was so inspired last year going to Robyn Story when

I was doing Beckham's Nursery. There is just unique 

Specialty Items that you can't find everywhere.

It's happiness for All!

Time to crack a good bottle of Wine with Family and Friends!

Today I want to introduce you to another great bottle of Red that 

I just love. I have had this bottle several times with good friends.

And I have a bottle in my Wine Cooler now!

The Prisoner! It is truly a one of kind wine!

The Taste Profile is unlike any other wine.

It is inspired and created by the drinkable "mixed blacks" first made by

the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley, it was innovative

and unique. Then in the 90's some Napa producers were interested in making

this style of wine. It was a blend which is always some of the best wines.

The Prisoner is a blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Syrah and Grenache.

This Wine is a Fruit Bomb! It features enticing aromas of bing cherry, espresso, and roasted fig.

The flavors in this wine are consistent and persistent with ripe raspberry, pomegranate, 

and wild berries to create a smooth luscious finish.

You can find The Prisoner at most any local Wine Shops 

for in the neighborhood of $40.

It's a Terrific Bottle of Red!

Yes, my friends...this is New Orleans, Louisiana!

Let the Good Times Roll!!

And I just got back from a Fab trip to my home town of New Orleans! 

To know me ..is to know a little Slice of New Orleans.

I am a Southern Girl!!! Love me some Classy Girls wearing Pearls!

Men in Bowties! Plaid... always dressing up for the Occasion

 ...and of course...Good Home Cooking! 

NOLA is all about the Food, the Party, and the Decorations!

Well...doesn't that just sum it up...for some good times!

There is always a reason for a Party and always a reason to decorate!

Welcome to my World!

New Orleans is one of the greatest Cities in the World.

It is full of so much Character and so much Life.

It's over 200 years old!

I grew up going to this City to spend time with my family.

In 2000 when my Sweet Hubs and I got married in NOLA...thats when 

the city really began to hold a special place for us!

We treasure our time there and enjoy our trips!

This City has a lot of meaning for us.

And of course we are LSU and Saints Fans...more importantly

as a mom of 2 boys...Sports and our Teams are big!!

This is just the first posts of many NOLA posts...

so many great details to share with you!

Cafe Du Monde

Oh yes...a must stop ...at least a couple times

while you travel to NOLA!

My boys woke up everyday in New Orleans...asking

for the very famous and very yummy Beignets!

The more Powdered Sugar the Better...but its a must to get them Fresh!

Simply a plate of Yumminess!

Fried Donut...Umm...Ya!

We tried a new place to us this trip called Cafe Beignet...

it was a nice walk from our Hotel...and it was 

so quaint and charming...not to mention a great little breakfast place

with Beignets of course...but other great breakfast items too!

Gotta have your Coffee in the morning!

We have passed the Palace Cafe for 

years but we had lunch there for the first time

and just loved it! Great Traditional New Orleans Food!

I have ever had...totally entertaining even for a lunch in NOLA!

My Boys couldn't wait to get their hands on one!

Super Fun and very Traditional.

A must when you travel to the City...of course my boys

were thrilled to take the ride!!

Muriel's Jackson Square Bistro

in the heart of Jackson Square in the French Quarter

This was another little treasure of a lunch spot that we had never been too!

Mind you this town has great restaurants

on top of great restaurants. You go to this town to eat...

and eat...and eat some more! You know you are in NOLA

when you are eating a Beignet and asking where are we going for lunch?

Muriel's has a quaint little Courtyard!

The Food was excellent...and they do a Jazz Sunday Brunch that is amazing!

We had a great Family Lunch their with my parents!

So many great Sweet Details of New Orleans I want to share with you!

We had a great time this trip...it was special because we brought our 3 B's

with us...and I think they loved it even more than we do!

We did it family style this time...but it is also a great couples place to visit...

or even a guys or girls trip! Its a great town! It's a Party!

Fall Nails

One of the most important details for me 

when I am pulling it all together is my Nails!

Yes, I said it...it's my Nails!

I love a Mani Pedi!

It makes me Smile!

Especially a Fresh Manicure!

If I could go 1 time a week...hello we would be in business!

However, I don't make it once a week...but when I do...

its that Special Detail that I just LOVE!!!

And...well I know I share the Love of Nails with several of

my girlfriends....its a Happy Place! And we all share our colors!

This Color I am wearing is my Good Friend Vanessa's Staple for the Fall!

I am pretty sure you can't go wrong with this Color...I am wearing it now..and 

I have also passed it on to another good friend Jessica who is wearing it now!!

My Good Friend Corey could possibly be 

more obsessed with Nail Colors than me...however she has 

perfect nails...and on top of that...she does them herself! Love her!

This Color is Super Fun and totally great for the Fall!

This is an Essie Favorite called Licorice with an Essie Matte Finish!

All fun for us Girls! And definitely that Special Detail that makes me so Happy!
