Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

You know how I love a party!
And you know how much I adore my Sweet Honeybee Beckham Marie.
This Minnie Mouse Party was special just for her!
After 3 kids and dozens of parties....this one I think I did right!
It was simple and I truly mean it.
I listened to my almost 2 year old little girl say...she wanted
Minnie Mouse Balloons and a Minnie Mouse Cake.
And that's what happened. No Crazy Frizzy Tizzy Nothing!
And you know what...she was so happy. And so was I.
It was a Win! We all enjoyed the special celebration...not to mention some amazing Cake.

So if you like Minnie Mouse and all things Disney like us...check out these Little Details.
The Minnie Mouse Cake was just perfection.
Yes, Beautiful ...but Yes Delicious.
Thank you to the most amazing Cake Boss I know...and friend!
Check out Kathy's Love of Cake Here.
Kathy loves the details that make it special too!

Classic Minnie Mouse in the Red, Black, and White is my favorite.
Don't get me wrong I am a Pink Girl...but Minnie has me with her Red Dress
and White Polka Dots. I added a few special details to the Cake and the Balloons
that pulled this special little celebration together.

Kathy's Love for Cakes never misses a detail.
This Minnie Mouse Cake was so delicate and beautiful.
The "TWO" Pennant for the Cake Topper was perfect!
I admit I have a small obsession with Pennants!!!
It's that detail that makes you smile and pulls a celebration together!

Minnie Mouse is so fun and perfect for a 2 year old birthday party!
The center of the Table of course was Minnie and Mickey Mouse.
I actually decorated the Table a week before the actual celebration
and my Sweet Girl thought she was at Disney World!
That Smile will light up your heart! Precious!
I would encourage you to do the same....simple things...
but we talked about the Minnie Mouse Party for days!
All Celebrations = a Pennant!
Loved the Minnie Mouse Happy Birthday Pennant!
I like that Pennants come in all variations. Anything goes...
do what you like....and if you are lucky the dollar spot at Target has so much
to offer for parties these days. Craft Stores always make it easier to celebrate too!
However, I do remember just a few short years ago it was so hard to make
Pennants and or find certain themes for parties.

I like to fill Glass Jars for almost any party.
It is simple and easy and not over done.
I just filled this Glass Jar on the Dessert Table with a
Minnie Mouse Printable Purse! It looked really cute...and added a nice touch.

And because this party was truly all about my sweet girl...
my little niece Lilly and I dressed for the occasion. So fun...
who doesn't love a little red lipstick and Minnie Mouse Ears!
Check back soon for a Tutorial on this Minnie Mouse Costume.

My Sweet Birthday Girl all Smiles for her Minnie Mouse Party!
This little 2 year old is a Party Planner in the making!!!
Enjoy your parties!
Happiness is in the Details!!

Happy Hour

Well a very Happy New Year on this Happy Hour Day Post!
Excited to be among some special friends today.
Bringing on a Happy, Healthy, and Successful 2016!
Feeling Grateful and Thankful and Enjoying the Season.
I follow a very inspirational Emily Ley and she always says
#loveyourseason and that is Truth! Although there are so many things
I want to soak myself into...the reality is I am a mom of 3 littles and it can be
busy and messy! But I choose to enjoy and love my season.
The saying...the days are long, but the years are short. Very True.
And Grace not Perfection.
Happy Hour has been pretty exciting lately...and I mean it!
We have been under the lights on the field cheering on my boys!
It's Friday Night Lights! It's Flag football Season!!
Which has been a great Friday Happy Hour
change of pace for us. And truly enjoying it.
It's definitely turned into a family fun night...
with a late night dinner and drinks with friends.
Over the Holidays ...we had some down town to relax, reflect, and enjoy some good juice!
These were some memorable bottles of Wine that you must check out!
Grab a plate of some Great Cheese and Crackers and here we go.
Oakville East Exposure from Napa Valley.
This is an Extraordinary Cabernet. It had me with it's deep violet color and huge mouth-feel of rich
concentrated tannins. Spicy flavors and Dense dark fruit that explode! Check.
Exposure has nuances of Chocolate, Roasted Fruit, Raspberries,
Violets and Sweet Toasty Oak that are perfectly balanced. I personally prefer
Wines that are Blended and this is a Blend of 76% Cab, 24% Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot.
This Wine is aged for 20 Months in French New Oak.
If you really enjoy Wine and Love to do fun Wine Tasting's with friends....
I encourage you to buy a 6 Pack or a Case of Wine at a time.
It is more cost effective ....there are always specials and sales with Wine Shops or On Line
Companies. I purchased this Wine on a Special and got it
for under $50/bottle. It can retail higher priced if it is not on Sale.
I love a SALE! Definitely my love language!
I will be back for another Happy Hour soon to talk about some other great bottles
we tried over the Holidays. Until then...
Enjoy your Happy Hour!
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great Weekend my friends!
Cheers!!

Random Acts of Christmas Kindness

In all the beautiful details of Christmas this is certainly at the top!
Random Acts of Christmas Kindness a countdown to Christmas Day.
This is a great thing to do with your kids as you countdown to the big day.
Remembering the Reason for the Season. In a time of the year where your
to do list is longer than ever...taking a moment to make someone feel loved and special.
This Random Acts of Kindness is from one of my friends Megan from
the incredible Coffee Cups and Crayons a blog for moms to follow.
And Megan is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met and truly
takes the time to notice the details of motherhood and life with her family!
These Random Acts are quite simple, but truly make a difference!
Megan says .... that the secret to enjoying your holidays is actually adding
in another family activity each day--a random act of kindness.
May be hard to believe but I think she is on to something. Thank you Megan!!!
Enjoy making someone feel special today!
Countdown to Christmas!!

Hi Friends!
Today I am going to show you some of my Top Holiday Gifts
to Wrap up for the Holidays for that someone special.
I am so excited that #target has done it again!
For years I have been giving these Little Giraffe Blankets
for that special Baby Gift. Mostly purchasing them at local
Baby Boutiques or Nordstrom's. However, Target has their very own
line from Little Giraffe for a great price!
I love the Colors they offer with Gray, Pink, and Blue.
All 3 of my Bee's have these Mini Blankie's and LOVE!
This is a GREAT Gift!! Check out Target's Little Giraffe's Here.

Have you noticed lately that the Big Chunky Necklaces are
not as HOT and Popular as they once were. Yes, Dainty Necklaces
are beautiful and delicate and very popular!
I am huge fan of this Brand Dogeared from Nordstrom's.
These beautiful necklaces make a great gift for a specific person.
I am loving their Mom, Sister, and Daughter Necklace.
Not only are the Necklaces beautiful, but they all have special meaning.
And giving a gift with meaning feels good!!!

Looking for a great gift under $50.
Nest Candles are delightful. The "Holiday" Classic is that perfect
gift for a friend or teacher! Nest Candles give such a great aroma that just fills a home.

One of my very good friends Bridget introduced me
to this Soap...Mister Violets. And I am quite impressed.
The package is fun. The product is great. This is your next
hostess gift. This is a gift under $25.
This is a Cold Process Soap that stays true to tradition.
Mister Violets is reviving the old time simplicity that used to be commonplace.
Their Soaps are all hand made with the finest natural oils, clays, and herbs.
