Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday!
Mardi Gras is the reflecting practice of eating richer foods and celebrating before Lent.
Mardi Gras arrived to New Orleans as a French Catholic Tradition!
And popular Mardi Gras practices are dancing, wearing masks and costumes,
social events, and parades! Of course delicious foods like the King's Cake!

Taking a stroll down St. Charles Avenue and you
are going to see some Fabulous Doors all dolled up for Mardi Gras!
The Classic Colors of Mardi Gras are Purple, Green, and Gold!
We love to get a Kings Cake every year in our house.
My Boys think it's the best! And who's going to get the Baby in the Cake!
And as Tradition is...who ever gets the Baby...of course throws the
next party! Just love a Party and NOLA Traditions!!!
