The Mint Julep is the Signature Cocktail of the Kentucky Derby.
Always about the details! Mint Juleps are made with
Bourbon....and I know Bourbon! I sold Bourbon for years...and
enjoyed great trips to Kentucky to the best Bourbon Distilleries!
I learned a lot...and not all Bourbon is equal. If you are going to drink a brown good...
make it quality not quantity! The Derby's Signature Cocktail is a Delicious Blend of
Simple Syrup, Bourbon, and Fresh Mint. It's always fun to Spice it up and Change up
the Delicious Cocktail with some Fresh Fruit: Lemons, Limes, Oranges, Strawberries,
Blueberries, or Raspberries. Fresh Mint is a Must for the Drink! It definitely does
make it more fun to mix it up with the different flavors, but some just like the traditional Mint Julep.
Presentation is Key ...Cups...or glasses can make your Delicious Cocktail so much better!
Traditional Mint Juleps are in Dainty Silver Cups! Stripe Straws are always a nice detail for your Cocktails! The Derby may last only a few minutes, but these delicious cocktails will
