Happy Friday My Friends!
I have a very special Happy Hour Post from my sister in law, Vicki in Portugal.
My family has had an incredible opportunity to live
in Lisbon, Portugal for a few years with my brother Jon's job in the Navy.
They are courageous and adventurous and all sorts of fun.
Of course they are on the most amazing European Travels daily!
So, I live vicariously through their fun...including the Winery Tours.
These Wineries are beautiful! Today, Vicki is sharing some of her gorgeous pictures from
Bacalhoa Winery. If you haven't had a chance to tour a Winery and learn
first hand the process of making wine...put it on your bucket list.
Wines have wonderful stories that go back generations. Family history.
And usually some great juice. It's fun and fresh...and most wineries have
their special wines that never even get released. So ...touring a Winery
is Must Do! Check out this fabulous Tour from Bacalhoa Winery of Portugal.
Bacalhoa Winery of Portugal is one of the biggest and innovative
Wineries of Portugal. Bacalhoa is family owned and been producing
wines since the 1920's. Some of my favorite White Wines are from Portugal.
And Vicki said her Top Favorites from Bacalhoa were White Wines too.
If you haven't had the chance to try a Moscato ...she recommends the
2002 Moscatel Roxo. These are delicious sweet wines.
Great with Coffee or Dessert. Intense aromas and layers of flavors of Orange Blossoms, Caramel,
Almonds, and Honey. Portugal Wines are Terrific Values too.
Another top favorite from the Bacalhoa Winery is the Catarina White ...It is a Chardonnay.
Pale Yellow in Color, very delicate and elegant. It is a mouthful of Light Fresh Peach and Pineapple.
Terrific Wine for those hot days and relaxing outdoors.
Both of these Wines are Great Values for under $15.
Thank you Vicki for sharing your Winery Fun with us!
Take the Time to Cheers to the Ones you Love!
Here's to a Happy, Healthy, and Fun Weekend!
Cheers My Friends!!!
