Little Black Dress

Hi Friends, I am swooning over this little Color Palate
for our next project at the Honeybee me!
Check out these fabulous details of this Little Black Dress!

Ok, so the truth is I could do Black and White Parties all the time!
So when given the opportunity to dance around some Black White Stripes..I am in!
So many details that I am loving.
Have you ever used Wrapping Paper for a Table Runner!
Just Fabulous. And this little Soiree is on a tight budget
and the decorations and design are for 12 Tables. Yep.
Not 1 table...12 Tables. And it can be hard enough to make one table look great.
The Black and White Polka Dot Wrapping Paper and Black and White Striped
Wrapping Paper with Pink Flowers is going to make a Big Impact on these Tables.
Simple Idea...but looks great...especially for multiple Tables.

These Little Black and White Straws just make me giddy and a drink so happy!!!
Grab some Ribbon and Make your own Pennant Flags for your Straws!
These are details that make a difference and make a party extra special.

And Speaking of Charming. Could be my favorite.
Check out these Glass Vases that will go on each table.
Simple Glass Vase from the Dollar Store. Yep. Your Welcome.
Color Blocked with Gold Paint at the Bottom give these Simple Vases
A Classy Rich Look to Jazz it Up! Can't wait to put Fresh Flowers in these Beauties!

Perfection!
Staying with the Theme "Little Black Dress"...Decorating
with some Great Black and White Ladies Accessories...Shoes, Jewels, and Dresses!

They always say Lighting is Key!
And these delicate little Candle Light Holders are nothing short of creative!!!
This is a Wine Glass from the Dollar Store. Yep. Your Welcome.
With a Velum Little Lamp Shade. You can get Velum Papers at most Craft Stores.
Put a Candle in the Glass....and it is just breathtaking on the Table.
The Little Black Dress Party is Swanky and Charming!
Well..I am looking forward to wearing my little black dress!
Time for another Party!!
Thanks for stopping by today!!
Bee Well!!!

Happy Hour

So this is what Happy Hour looks like this week.
As exciting as it is to Celebrate Back to School...
Hubs and I had our own Celebration!
Happy FriYay my Friends!
We had a great Bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon 2013.
My Favorite Number.. 13.
Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County.
This is a Lovely Bottle Wine that doesn't disappoint.
It's a mouthful of Ripe Blackberry and Boysenberry with hints of Toasty Oak
and Sweet Cocoa. Pretty much what you are hoping for when you open
a Good Bottle of Cabernet!! Terrific Value at $20.
Check out the Decoy Winery Here.
Their Portfolio of Wines are Fantastic.

The Decoy Cabernet is Amazing with this great little appetizer.
I love me some Cheese. I don't discriminate either...any Cheese.
Try this Delicious little combo of Eats.
Fresh Brie Cheese with Fresh Figs.
Fresh Bread cut into Slices
Add some Fig Paste and Spread it on your Bread
AMAZING!
Let the Weekend Begin!
Enjoy your Happy Hour Friends!
Have a great Weekend!
Cheers!!!

It's a Ball

So, yes today is officially the first day of school for my sweet boys.
It's been a fantastic Summer! Funny, how we just get so excited for that
Last Day of School and then how we just are ready for School to
start back again. It's the Schedule and the Routine.
My body craves it! Although a Loosey Goosey Schedule is fun too!
I like to sleep late! And Stay up late! But ...the Closing Ceremonies
for "Camp Layne" have happened...right after a blast at the Adventure Island yesterday!
That's right we celebrate and live it up like Rock Stars all Summer Long!
In our house....it's Sum Sum Summer Time and we live in the moment
and make great memories! And yes it may go by way too fast...but we can truly say
we enjoyed and we conquered! So today, as we all snap adorable little pictures
of the 1st Day of School ..I ask...you too..to live in the moment and enjoy
those sweet faces as they embark on their next adventure of learning.
I firmly believe in making a good start for a new year...and I am also
Southern ...I never like to show up to the party empty handed.
That goes for school too. My Boys show up with a few goodies every year...
and this being one of my favorite. Most teachers have a "Wish List"..
for those items they need for their classroom. Well..let's just make it easy
with this adorable Mason Jar full of Crayons for their desk with a Gift Card..
to Target or Walmart for their Wish List! I like to tie either Bakers Twine or Jute Rope
to keep it Simple. Always a Tag! This one is my favorite for the Mason Jars...

Well...I am exhausted....Camp Layne's Staff...was minimal!
Sad to say goodbye to Summer...but...
I am ready for the Fall and a New Routine!
It's a Ball! It's going to be a good year!!
Enjoy my Friends!!!

Happy Hour

Happy Friday Friends!
I am pretty sure Happy Hours are any day of the week on Summer Schedules!
And speaking of any day of the week. I had this little number
this week with Hubs and it was delicious!
I am a huge fan of Michael David Winery, but this was the first time I had Inkblot!
Inkblot Cab Franc is big and bold. So much so...
you need to open it and let it breath before you drink it!
This Wine is Strong Raspberry with a Smoky Dense Palate.
There is no messing around with this Wine.
This Wine is right in line with the bold and big flavors of Michael David.
Inkblot Cab Franc is a terrific value at $35.

Had to share this great little eats with you friends as well.
Great Appetizer or Salad with a Happy Hour!

Beefsteak Tomato Salad
Fresh Beefsteak Tomatos: Season with Salt and Pepper
Top with all Fresh Ingredients-
Red Onions and Green Onions
Blue Cheese Crumbles
Crispy Bacon Chopped
Drizzle a Little Red Wine Vinegar & Olive Oil Dressing

Enjoy your Happy Hours!
Have a great Weekend Sweet Friends!!

Tool Box

Not your typical "Tool Box".
However, a very important and well used Tool Box!
A Tool Box used at least Monday thru Friday in our House!
It's my Boys Tool Box!
Last year, I put these little Tool Boxes together for
the boys to make Homework time a pleasure.
Set yourself up for Success!
And so we did. And every afternoon is better, because of our preparation.
No more Scrambling for Pencils, Scissors, Glue, Crayons, etc.
The Tool Box helps us stay on top of homework or papers for the teachers.
We keep Notebooks or Books that we are working on in the Tool Box.
I suggest putting the Tool Box together with your child's needs.
I am always making adjustments...but my boys count on their Tool Box
for Homework Time...and it's always fun to throw a treat in their Box Too!
So, as Summer is closing and School Preparation is happening...make a Tool Box!
Be creative...use a Basket or Bucket...whatever works for you.
I found these adorable Section off Buckets at Homegoods!
Take that Monday!
Enjoy your Tool Box!!!
