Not a pool day...no worries...I am diving into a Classic Agave Margarita!
This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy Tequila!
And to keep things fun around here...try a Lemon Popsicle dipped in

Just add Ice Cream

In the Spirit of Celebrating National Ice Cream Day this Week...
I thought it would be fun to show you are great gift for new neighbors or friends!
If you missed my post on National Ice Cream Day...check it out Here!
I made this adorable Little Basket with all these fun Ice Cream Party Toppings!
I got a Plastic Turquoise Bucket and Filled it with all kinds of goodness!
Of course I like to add my little flare to make it pretty!
We all like things pretty!!!
I wrapped a lot of the Toppings in Clear Plastic Bags with a Pretty Bag Topper.
I used Mason Jars for some Toppings and Tied it with Bakers Twine!
I put most fun essential toppings: M & M's, Sprinkles, Marshmallows, Reece's,
Skittles, Nuts, Syrup, and of Course Ice Cream Cones!
To Wrap it all up ...you always need a cute little saying...with a card!
"Congratulations on your new Home! Just Add Ice Cream!"
I am pretty sure any family that receives this little Welcome Basket
is going to be doing the happy dance!!!

Have fun and Enjoy some Ice Cream!!!

National Ice Cream Day

Happy National Ice Cream Day!
I can't think of what would be more fun in the Summer Time
than Celebrating an Ice Cream Day!
And yes...this is a real Holiday!
My Sweet Kids and I and their Meme jumped in
on the Holiday and made our very own home made Ice Cream!
Check this Out!!

Making Ice Cream can be simple and fun!
We didn't even use our Ice Cream Machine.
This is a Simplified Version of making our own flavors
of yummy home made Ice Cream.
I use French Vanilla as our Base of Ice Cream. I like Breyers.
You can use whatever Ice Cream Brand you like, but use Vanilla Flavor.

Bake a Basic White Cake. Yum!

Here's where it gets exciting!
Especially with my boys!
I am from New Orleans. (most of you know)
Home of Great Food...but importantly home of the
Snow Cones...and the best flavors of Snow Cones.
Check out my recent visit to NOLA Here!
So, yes you guessed it. This is Snow Cone Flavoring from New Orleans.
Great Addition in the Pantry!
We will be making Snow Cones too!

My big guy Brooks chose Bubble Gum Flavor to make
the most delicious Ice Cream. Very Kid Friendly! My Little guy Brody chose Cotton Candy
to make Ice Cream next week. (can't make too many..right)
Just added some of the Bubble Gum Flavoring to the Melted Vanilla Ice Cream.
Then Broke up some of the White Cake into the Ice Cream.
Put the Ice Cream in my own Plastic or Glass Container to Freeze it again.

Of course I am a kid at heart!
I chose Wedding Cake Flavor! Yum!
I usually make 2 Flavors at a time.
It gives everyone a chance to have a Bowl or Cone!
Ice Cream is way more fun with family and friends!

I let the Ice Cream Freeze for about 24 hours.
Voila ...we are having an Ice Cream Party
with our very own Home Made Ice Cream...
Bubble Gum and Wedding Cake!

3 Scoops of Bubble Gum Ice Cream
Topped with Sprinkles and a Sugar Cone!
We had a great time Celebrating our National Ice Cream Day!
It's fun to make memories and create traditions with family and friends.
Ice Cream is definitely a happy place!

Making your own Ice Cream can be fun and delicious!

Presentation is everything!
I do believe it makes things tastes even better!!!

A Patriotic Table

Nothing more Patriotic than a Red, White, and Blue Backyard BBQ!
The Honeybee Hive put together an amazing 4th of July Table Scape!
Very inviting and ready for firecrackers!!
With this All American Holiday this weekend....I wanted to share
this beautiful Party Table for some Inspiration.
I am just a lover of all things American!
I love the feel and the Rustic Ambiance!
Check out all these Red, White, and Blue Party Details I am swooning over!!!

The details are a multi layer of All American Red, White, and Blue.
The Table is a Rustic Wood Farmhouse Outdoor Table.
Great for Entertaining and BBQ's. I love it! Farmhouse Tables are always inviting...
the more the merrier! The Table Runner is an American Flag which gives the Party Table
a great statement for the 4th of July! Each setting is anchored with a Weaved Round Charger, followed by a Pewter Plate, White Dessert Plate, and a Denim Napkin. Layers and more Layers!

The Center Piece of the Table is a Silver 3 Tiered Tray great for
displaying any sort of decoration or food for your party.
I am ready for some delicious Apple Pie and Watermelon.
I bought some Mini American Flags to decorate throughout the table ...
they look great, easy and fun....and inexpensive.
What are your 4th of July Traditions?

Ready to Party in Red, White, and Blue?
My favorite detail is the American Flag Runner.
It's a great Linen to add to your Entertaining Collection.
