Happy Friday My Friends!

Are we ready for a Friday!

I am certainly ready ...as I have just returned from a Fabulous

Field Trip to the Children's Museum with my son's 3rd Grade Class!

So needless to say...Happy Hour is something I looked forward too today!!!

I wanted to share my shopping yesterday at Whole Foods.

As we bought a few new wines. I am excited to try a few new ones and 

share them with you in the next month.

So this is a new Wine that I will be trying too! Humble Pie Cabernet.

I admit the name and the cute package grabbed me on this wine, however, I did 

want to share a few hints when buying Wine.  Obviously, it is best to try a sample first..

if given that opportunity. A lot of the Wine Shops will have Wine Tastings. Restaurants love to have

Wine Dinners, and of course a Wine Festival is a must! They are way fun...and certainly productive 

if you are looking to expand your horizons and try new Wines. Mike and I love 

to shop for Wines together and Try new Wines. We don't always love what we try...but

it is all about the experience of trying new Wines and hopefully finding a new wine to keep in your Cellar!  I like Whole Foods to buy wines...I buy Wines other places too,

But Whole Foods always gives you a discount if you buy a case or 6 Bottles.

Love a Discount! When you are shopping for Wines most of the time the Wholesaler will 

feature Wines on End Caps or 3 Cases Stackers. Those are always a good Wine to Check out..

if you are willing to try something new. The Wines are usually on Sale.

So I jumped in on a few New Wines myself this week. This is Humble Pie Cabernet...

I am excited to try a New Cab from Central Coast. It was only $15.99 it had a $2.00 off this week.

Did you know that Cabernet Grapes are the most widely planted red wine grapes in California.

Cabernet is King in Red Wine Grapes. And Cabernet is one of the most dominant grapes

in California's Most Prestigious Wine Brands.

Humble Pie Cabernet is known for amazing Aromas and Soft Berries. This Wine can 

stand alone for a Happy Hour. So...let's not wait...let's jump in for our last Friday in February

and enjoy a new bottle of Humble Pie Cabernet!

Preppy Tennis Party

Hello Honeybee me friends!

I am thrilled to be talking about a Party today!

I just love a party and all the pretty details!

This is truly one of my favorite Post Days!

Parties are always Happy and bowl of Sunshine!

This is a Great Preppy Tennis Party I hosted for my Sweet Boy 

Brooks a few years ago. Simple, but fun!

Brooks loves Tennis and Plays so it was just the perfect little party 

to host after school one afternoon in one of our favorite parks with his besties!

The Party Colors were in a Palate of Tennis Greens with a splash of yummy treats!

Love the Pennants and how it makes it feel special!

I made a great Pennant with some Cute Tennis Card Stock Paper.

The Party was in the afternoon, so we had some little treats for all the kids!

I made Oreo Cookies to look like Tennis Balls. We had Tennis Ball Sugar Cookies!

Green Popcorn, Green Cupcakes, and ...Green and White Pretzel Buttons.

The Picnic Table was so inviting and the focal point of the party in the Park!

The Preppy Tennis Theme was cute and was very easy to create.

I had a Green Astro Turf Table Cloth with Burlap Runners for the Table.

Jars filled with Tennis Balls! Green and White Striped Napkins...It was easy and I wasn't

going back and forth to your local party store. I really like simple themes that are pretty, but easy and

not too much pressure to create to make a great party. I love simple Stripes and Polka Dots.

Marshmallows on a Stick are always a Big Hit with Kids!

I dipped them in Green Candy Melts!

A beautiful day at the Park with some Birthday Treats and we have a Winner!

Tennis Balls of course!!!

Some of my most favorite Parties for Kids are the Simple 

ones where the Kids play at the Park and Enjoy the Celebration!

Good old fashion fun at the Park! This was a Great Preppy Tennis Party!

The Treats were Perfect...and even more importantly the memories of a 

great Birthday Party are fantastic!

Princess Lace Crowns

Happy Tuesday All!

I am all for some DIY Projects especially a girly one!

My Sweet Friend Heather loves to Craft just like me and has inspired

me to make these amazing Little Princess Lace Crowns!

This is a great project to do with your little princess! Even a fabulous DIY

for a Princess Girly Party! There are some great Tutorials on Pinterest.

Heather made this beautiful Gold Crown for my Sweet Beckham and 

we just adore looking at it in her Room! I already had a love of Crowns

so when I saw this Fun Craft ...I knew this would be a Favorite!!!

I can't wait till Miss B starts to play dress up with these Little Lace Crowns!

You can find all the supplies needed at your Local Craft Store...Michaels or Joann's.

These Lace Crowns can have any personality you desire! 

Simple Supplies Needed: Vintage Crocheted Lace, Fabric Stiffener, Wax Paper,

Acrylic Paint (Silver, Bronze, Gold, Pink). I think these Lace Crowns

are absolutely Precious! Great for any Girly Event!

It's a Chilly one here in Tampa!

Thankful for our sunshine and Florida in February!

We have some catching up to do today ...

this past Wednesday was National Drink a Glass of Wine Day!

So lets cozy up to a fire and have a glass of J Vineyards Pinot Noir.

This is a great Pinot Noir. It is very well balanced and food friendly with Bright Berries...

Cherries, Blackberries, and Raspberries. It has a hint of Licorice and spices with an elegant finish.

J Vineyards is from Russian River Valley which is well known for some great

Wineries...and some of my favorite wines!

J Vineyards is found at most any Wine Shops and a great value at $40 a bottle.

Happy Fat Tuesday Ya'll!

Better known as "Mardi Gras!"

In true Southern Tradition in the City of New Orleans

today is Fat Tuesday and the City is Alive!

Check out a few of my favorites from New Orleans!

This town comes together as they celebrate Carnival on or after Kings Day!

Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday!

Mardi Gras is the reflecting practice of eating richer foods and celebrating before Lent.

Mardi Gras arrived to New Orleans as a French Catholic Tradition!

And popular Mardi Gras practices are dancing, wearing masks and costumes, 

social events, and parades! Of course delicious foods like the King's Cake!

This City decorates and Enjoys Mardi Gras Impeccably! 

I just love all these Mardi Gras details!

Taking a stroll down St. Charles Avenue and you

are going to see some Fabulous Doors all dolled up for Mardi Gras!

The Classic Colors of Mardi Gras are Purple, Green, and Gold!

We love to get a Kings Cake every year in our house. 

My Boys think it's the best! And who's going to get the Baby in the Cake!

And as Tradition is...who ever gets the Baby...of course throws the 

next party! Just love a Party and NOLA Traditions!!!

Thrilled today!

It's Friday the 13th!

If you know me...the 13th is big!!!

The number goes back several generations with incredible significance

for my family! Here's a quick taste of what I mean!

My parents got married on August 13th. I was born on May 13th!

I had my first born son Brooks on March 13th! Then my second born son Brody

was born on September 13th nearly 3 weeks early!

I m the first girl and 3rd child in my family and a surprise to my sweet parents 

and was delivered on a Friday the 13th!! LOVE!

I'm feeling lucky today! Or I should really say fortunate and blessed!

It's going to be a weekend of fun celebrations for Valentine's Day!

So, what better way to kick off the weekend with some Champs! 

I just adore this brand PJ! Perrier Jouet!

Just a beautiful brand of Champagne! Champs is great in any kind of weather!

Great for any kind of celebration or just a great Happy Hour!

I worked several years ago for PJ and truly enjoyed it!

This brand does it right! Great parties and incredible Champagne!

Feeling Bright and Sunny today as I live in Florida

My hubby has traveled all across the country this week

in some horrific cold and snowy weather 

and all I can think about is how Fab Florida is this time of the year!

Thinking he could use this Clementine Mojito today for Happy Hour!

I am hitting the beach with my 3 Bee's and I am excited

about my Clementine Mojito! I love a Clean Vodka Cocktail...

but this just looks inviting and delicious!

Mojito's are always a fun choice for Happy Hour

but when I saw this Recipe with Clementines I thought it 

was a nice variation to an original Mojito Recipe!
